Doug Guess • PAINTING (WATERCOLOR) With varying degrees of abstraction, Doug's watercolor paintings depict close-up views of native prairie grasses and flowers in eastern Kansas. He tries to present many of these plants with unusual visual angles and perspectives that accentuate their individual, and often alluring, attributes. He also creates more traditional floral paintings.
