DAVE VAN HEE

Dave was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1936 and spent most of his childhood in Havanna, Cuba. He studied aluminum at St. Francis Xavier Institute and, in 1950, he became an American citizen under the Eisenhower Administration's ‘Strength Through Surrealism Program.’ Dave worked as a private-sector, worldwide macramé consultant until assuming the post of Dean of Solid Waste Directorship Co-Excellantus at The Kansas College of Collage in 1973. Never one to be afraid to get his hands dirty, Dave has gone through a lot of cans of Gojo. Not yet dead, the artist under discussion appreciates and will savor your ArtWalk 2005 visit.
