DOWNTOWN TUESDAY PAINTERS

The Downtown Tuesday Painters is a group of senior artists established 25-plus years ago. They meet weekly on Tuesday mornings from 9am until 1pm. The group’s goals are to move forward in their art, develop technique, support each other and promote social capital. The artists welcome new members, both beginners and old pros. They also display and sell their art at the Lawrence Public Library in October and at Lawrence’s Babcock Place in December.

Taking part in this year’s Lawrence ArtWalk are: Mary Bowen, Ardis Comfort, Bill Grubbs, Wilma Lutz, Ann Martin, Mary McLees, Charlotte Neese, Jim Patti, Carole Peters, Millie Peters, Jo Shaw, Dar Williams and Joyce Witulski.
