Downtown Tuesday Painters is a group of senior artists established 25-plus years ago who meet weekly on Tuesday mornings between 9am-1pm. The group's goals are to move forward in their art, develop techniques, support each other's growth and promote social capital. They welcome new members, beginners and old pros. Their art is displayed every October at the Lawrence Public Library and in November and December at Babcock Place, Lawrence.

The group's members exhibiting their work during Lawrence ArtWalk 2007 include Erika Binns, Ardis Comfort, Tracy Fields, Bill Grubbs, Wilma Lutz, Ann Martin, Charlotte Neese, Carole Peters, Milly Peters, Mary Jo Shaw, Dar Williams and Joyce Witulski.
