Carolyn photographs in all natural environments but specializes in the subtle forms and colors of Kansas. Her subjects include the Flint Hills, sunflower fields, ice on the Kaw river, fields of color, close-ups and wetlands; and her conceptual interests include layers of reality. Carolyn photographs in Kansas, Zion Canyon, the Northwest and Colorado. Her works are available in Lawrence at the Lawrence Arts Center, BoMo and Signs of Life.
