Artist Biographical Statement

Throughout his life, Justin Marable has learned and wandered within the boundaries of his Midwestern homeland, observing the social and physical landscape of the surrounding region.  Environmental issues drive much of his work as well as influences from family, nature, and everyday life.  He strives to provide an ongoing stream of original art that flows from roots of urban and rural Kansas to the surrounding local and global community.  For the last decade, he has developed a diverse audience through his unique process and style. Printmaking, particularly, serigraphy, or screen printing, has become his main method of artistic expression.  He has been a recipient of several regional awards over the course of his career.   His work is included in various private and public collections across the country and has appeared in local, regional, and national publications.
