Tanya is a life-long artist, who received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1991 from the University of Kansas. Over the years, Tanya has developed specialties in ceramics and figurative sculpture as well as mixed media and collage. Tanya has become especially well known for her life-body-casts. Tanya notes that the “human figure has become a canvas for my creativity." These works, while often sharing similar methodology, possess the unavoidable uniqueness of each human's individual nuances.
