Sharon has
worked with fabrics and fibers for years. Her recent work
includes hand-painted fabric - silk, linen, cotton and
polyester - and, although everything - even the fabric and
paper works - is eventually quilted in some manner, her
work demonstrates an exploration of traditional and
surface design techniques. She is drawn to landscapes -
environmental and psychological - and family stories. She
has completed several textile art portraits for herself
and commissions. Her work has been exhibited throughout
the Midwest. |
