Linda
is a lifetime Kansas resident and has resided in
Lawrence for the past 30 years. Her work has covered
virtually the entire spectrum of quilting, from
reproducing antique quilts using reproduction fabrics
and traditional patterns to creating abstract pieces
while exploring new ideas with contemporary quilt
artists. Linda’s work has been exhibited in galleries
and quilt shows throughout the country; most recently
at the Page-Walker Arts Center in Cary, NC, the Irene
French Gallery in Merriam, KS, and locally at the
Lawrence Arts Center and Watkins Historical Museum.
Her Civil War era reproduction quilts have been
pictured in several books by Barbara Brackman, and her
Patchwork Hawk was part of the Lawrence Hawks on
Parade exhibit. |
