In 1970
Nancy received a BA in Visual Arts Education from the
University of Kansas. She taught drawing, painting,
pottery and filmmaking before returning to KU in 1986
to begin work on her BFA in Painting. Nancy has been
actively painting since 1989 and most of her currently
commissioned work combines portrait, landscape and
still life subjects. Her paintings are narratives that
are sometimes completed outdoors as well as in her
studio.
