Anson’s
artworks, which are painted mostly in watercolor, use
Native American imagery to comment on American
society. He has done research in Native American
artwork and beliefs, and has talked to Native
Americans about their views of America. Anson is a
20-year old Lawrence native studying painting at the
University of Kansas, and uses the pen name ‘Anson The
Ornery’ to describe his personality and for many other
reasons. |
