Marilyn continues to explore oil painting from a
night-time, urban landscape perspective. Her current series of paintings was
inspired by a recent trip to Austin, Texas and a stay at the famously haunted
hotel, The Driskill. The paintings reflect Marilyn's attempt to capture the
organic feeling of the hotel, which had a very lively ambience and an
otherworldly feel. |
