Nanette enjoys cheerful paintings so she tends
to use a lot of bright colors, sometimes in an abstract or exaggerated manner.
She likes to put complementary colors next to each other and experiments with
many different watercolor techniques. She generally uses transparent
watercolors and enjoys using granulated-looking pigments and rough watercolor
paper. She usually limits her palette to primary colors and likes to mix new
colors directly on the paper. Although her primary medium is transparent
watercolors, Nanette also enjoys working in oils and acrylics. Nanette has
recently begun selling her paintings over the Internet and her work is now
collected worldwide. Her paintings include flowers, fruit, animals, scenery and
