Celia is a native of Spain but since 1967 has been a resident of Lawrence. She has been trying to get a Kansas accent ever since. Celia sketches from nature and people, and composes paintings that tell stories, or impart feelings or ideas. Other works are landscapes that capture the essence of a place, while others are simply fun and whimsical.
