Barbara's new studio is situated above an inspirational view of the Kansas river and, along with her award-winning pastel landscapes and mixed-media pieces, may be seen by taking a beautiful country drive out of Lawrence. Her mixed-media works are created on paper or canvas and incorprate found and natural objects. Barbara is a University of Kansas graduate and teaches drawing classes at KU's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. She is planning several, special all-day pastel workshops at her studio in the near future.
