Julie has been making jewelry since she was 15 years old. She has a BFA in Metalsmithing and
Jewelry Design from the University of Kansas and has been selling her works at regional art
fairs since 1987. In 2004 she opened 'Jewelry by Julie' in Downtown Lawrence, where she
sells her original - and often nature-inspired - creations made from Sterling Silver and
Gemstones.
