Through the lens of a camera, Tony records the subtle beauty of everyday things too often
missed during the daily bustle. Capturing the play of light, color and texture and unexpected
connections is what defines his style. He says, "My work doesn't fit neatly into any particular
category. I went on a trip with a friend of mine and when she looked at my photographs she
asked, Were we in the same place? We were in the same place at the same time yet my
perspective and what I saw was completely different. That's when I realized that I do have an
Uncommon Vision of the Common World."
Tony is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in Journalism. After more than 30
years working in human services and the non-profit world he is currently pursuing his original
passions of art and photography.
