OH NO, YOU MISSED LAWRENCE ARTWALK 2013!
In 2013 we celebrated our 19th annual Lawrence ArtWalk.
It
featured a two-day self-guided tour of Lawrence, Ks artists'
studios and other art spaces, and once again showcased the fabulous art created
by many of Douglas County's fine artists.
Over 45 artists exhibited their incredible
artwork at studios, homes and other art spaces in and around Lawrence; and displayed work
in a wide variety of mediums including ceramics,
drawing, glass, jewelry, metalwork, mixed-media 2-D, mixed-media 3-D,
painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture. From funky to exquisite, the
Lawrence ArtWalk once again had it all!
Even though the ArtWalk is over for 2013, please do not
hesitate to contact artists whose work you saw but may not
have been able to acquire immediately or whom you would like
to commission to create a unique piece of art. Note also that
many of our artists' studios may be visited at other times of
the year. For artists' contact details and samples of their work,
please visit their individual web pages
