Steve's work illustrates the standard concept of Mankind coexisting with Nature. His working approach is to simply manipulate a very rigid and manufactured geometric or square piece of sheet metal. He does this by cutting one or more straight lines in the metal, which weakens its rigidity and allows him to produce an organic form.
