Wayne paints
contemporary and historical portraits as well as epic-sized
paintings that portray history in ideological settings.
He accepts commissions and also teaches classes. Wayne
has been recognized with a Kansas Governor's Artist
award, Lawrence's Phoenix award, and an NEA Millennium
Artist award, and his work has been exhibited at the
LBJ Presidential Library and the Kansas Capitol.
