History and
landscape are some of Karen's favorite subjects, and
her love of the outdoors was embedded in her at a
very early age. Growing up in Colorado, she spent
weekends at her family's cabin near Leadville digging
in old mine tailings, hiking old railroad beds and
fishing crystal-clear lakes. Karen's memories always
find their way back into her art. |
