Our Featured Artist designation was awarded this year to
Lawrence artist Lauretta Hendricks Backus. Lauretta was selected
by a panel of judges comprised of former commissioned
Lawrence ArtWalk graphic artists, a previous Featured Artist recipient and the Lawrence
ArtWalk Director. Her artwork appears on the ArtWalk
invitational postcard and will appear on the poster, guide map and this web
