The Lawrence ArtWalk is Lawrence’s original art walk and is an annual artists’ open studios event featuring the visual artists of Douglas County, Kansas, USA. It takes place in and around Lawrence, Kansas and is usually held on the second weekend in October. More info about our history, which started in 1995, can be found here.

In 2014, the standard format for the event changed temporarily. What would have taken place as Lawrence ArtWalk 2014 was replaced by DIY ArtWalk 2014, which relied more on the participating artists to organize and promote themselves. For more info, see our Facebook page.
Lawrence ArtWalk 2015 marked a return to our usual format. We thank John Wysocki for his hard work and dedication as director of the Lawrence ArtWalk from 1996-2013.
We hope you will join us this year to celebrate 23 years of ArtWalks, and look forward to enjoying and acquiring fantastic art by our fabulously talented artists!
Thanks for your support!
